The United Way of Northern BC (UWNBC) is thrilled to announce the final results of the 2020 Tree of Lights. The people of Prince George have again shown tremendous love and support to Prince George’s long-standing Christmas tradition. We are pleased to say that after extending it into the New Year, the Tree of Lights campaign in Prince George has raised $30,557!
“We have been trying to put into words the gratitude we have for the incredible generosity of this community and find that nothing seems to express how overwhelmed we truly feel about this remarkable achievement. It’s a testament to the heart of Prince George, and Northern BC, and we are so honoured to be able to do the work we do to support those who need it most. There are so many that came together to reach this goal; donors, sponsors, agencies, volunteers, community leaders, the UWNBC staff. It’s a true representation of the work we do every day – that each one of us can make a real difference by coming together in whatever way we can. Thank you!”, Trista Spencer, Executive Director, UWNBC.
The list of contributors to the campaign is long, but the Tree of Lights would not have been possible without the sponsorships and efforts of the following organizations: Warmac Ventures Ltd, The Coast Prince George Hotel by APA, Brink Group of Companies, McWalter Media Group, Vista Radio, PG Recycling & Return-it-centre, Team Powerhouse Realty, Northern Hart Designs, Northland Nissan, BC Northern Real Estate Board, King Pine Contracting, Sterling Crane, PG Rentals Ltd, Royal Bank, Scotiabank, Canadian Western Bank, and Western Equipment Ltd.
