We are so glad you are joining us for the 2023 Period Promise campaign!
For the success of this campaign, it is absolutely critical for us to be able to work with incredible, community minded organizations (like you!) to ensure we can help those in need right in our community.
To ensure that we have all the information we need to proceed, as well as make it easy for you to see what's expected as one of our amazing collection sites, please complete the following form.
The Terms of Participating as a Collection Organization for UWNBC's Period Promise Program are as follows:
to actively engage in the 2023 launch of United Way's Period Promise in Northern BC between the dates of May 1 - 28, 2023. This can be, but is not limited to, through sharing of information via social media, email, and in-person conversation, should opportunities arise
.
to advertise, to your limitations, the Period Promise campaign within your organization with internal and/or external people in an effort to raise awareness and support for the cause.
UWNBC will provide promotional items to you in advance of the campaign launch on May 1st.
to have a collection box with signage in an accessible and visible location so people may drop of menstrual products during the course of the campaign.
to accept and forward any financial donations made to the campaign to the UWNBC by June 9, 2023.
Exceptions are acceptable as we understand all organizations are not able to do this.
Please advise in the form accordingly.
to count the product collected as part of the 2023 Period Promise campaign prior to it's delivery to the Recipient Agency in your community (further information will be provided).

Important!
UWNBC will provide a comprehensive report to you after the campaign is completed to ensure you can celebrate the success of the campaign with some great information about how we did across the Northern BC region. This will be shared as soon as possible, but no later than July 31, 2023.
Once you submit this form, a copy will be sent to your email so you have record of the terms of participation.
