Introducing Georgina Colthurst, the newest member of the United Way of Northern BC team! Georgina is based in Terrace and will be working remotely, but is always just a phone call away at 250-561-1040 or a quick email at Georginac@unitedwaynbc.ca.

Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Georgina fell head over heels for the breathtaking beauty and fantastic communities of Northern British Columbia and decided to make the move in 2021. With a Bachelor of Women’s and Gender Studies and a minor in Labor Studies under her belt, Georgina has a passion for community building and social justice that shines through in her work with various social service organizations.

As the Community Impact Officer at United Way of Northern BC, Georgina is thrilled to be building relationships with the many communities and organizations in the north.

When she’s not working, you can find Georgina getting her heart rate up on a hike, binge-watching the latest TV series, rolling on her skates, getting creative with some painting, or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen.
