Change Language

The Community Services Recovery Fund is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities and non-profits as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery. Now more than ever, charities and non-profits are playing a key role in addressing persistent and complex social problems faced by all communities. The Community Services Recovery Fund responds to what charities and non-profits need right now and supports organizations as they adapt to the long-term impacts of the pandemic.

“The Government supports a more inclusive model of economic growth that creates opportunities for everyone in Canada as the long-term recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic continues. The Community Services Recovery Fund will strengthen the ability of charities and non-profits to deliver services and resources where they will have the most impact. Because of the National Funders’ strong connections with local organizations, they will ensure funding is distributed efficiently to organizations that provide services to communities in need across Canada.”

The Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Karina Gould

Where to Apply

Apply today!

Organizations may submit one application for funding under this program. If an organization applies on behalf of a collaborative, that counts as its one application.

Local or regional branches of a national/provincial/territorial organization or provincial/territorial branches of a national organization may apply for funding even if their head office is also applying as long as the projects are not the same and each organization applying is structured and registered as a separate entity.

If applications are submitted incorrectly, there is no guarantee they will be redirected.

Take the Where to Apply Questionnaire if you would like support in determining where you need to apply.
