UWNBC COVID-19 RELIEF FUND REVIEW PROCESS
We have convened a Rapid Review Committee comprised of UWNBC Board members from across Northern BC to enable us to make the quickest, and fairest, decisions possible, utilizing expertise from each area of the Northern BC region. We are approaching the process of reviews and approvals through completing funding rounds. This allows us to continue to accept applications to monitor emerging needs, and to continue to raise funds through the UWNBC COVID-19 Relief Fund. We expect that once the first round of funding is completed, the second round will be administered within 2-3 weeks and so on.
- If an organization receives funding, they will continue to go under review for further funding in subsequent rounds until the UWNBC COVID-19 Relief Fund is closed or the organization has received the full amount of their original request.
- If an organization does not receive funding, but is eligible, they will receive an email notification from UWNBC and will continue to go under review for further funding in subsequent rounds until the UWNBC COVID-19 Relief Fund is closed.
- If an organization is ineligible or the request is denied, they will receive a letter from UWNBC with this information and will no longer go under review in further rounds. UWNBC will provide guidance and information on other resources as applicable.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
