Making Connections in Hudson’s Hope

The River of the Peace Metis Society in Hudson’s Hope have been the recipients of a printer that the Peace River Hydro Partners wanted to pass on through the United Way of Northern BC Making Connections Initiative.

The Peace Metis Society in Hudson’s Hope just opened their office in Hudson’s Hope to assist Metis people  in the area to reach their potential in education, housing, health and finance. The donation of a printer is greatly appreciated. Valerie Paice, Chairperson of the Society, is pictured with the printer.

*Making Connections Initiative – The United Way plays a facilitative role in connecting businesses that have excess new or used resources, be it technologies, furniture, volunteers or other resources. Donating useful items to not-for-profit provides a sustainable solution and an opportunity for a company to keep very usable office equipment from being sent to local landfills and fulfill the needs of not for profit organizations.
