Kearns named Honorary Chair of 2019 Commonwealth Cup!

Veteran Canuck Alumni Dennis Kearns was named Honorary Chair of the 12th Annual Commonwealth Cup 2019, brought to you by HSJ Lawyers.

Kearns made his NHL debut in 1971 with the Vancouver Canucks. He would, over the next 10-years become a star playmaker with extraordinary skill on offense and the power play. Vancouver Canucks Alumni Richard Brodeur to support United Way of Northern BC at the 12th Annual Commonwealth Cup!

Hockey legend Richard “King Richard” Brodeur is joining other Vancouver Canucks Alumni at the 12th Annual Commonwealth Cup on July 23rd, 2019 at Aberdeen Glen Golf Course in Prince George in support of the event’s charity of choice, United Way of Northern BC.

United Way of Northern BC Community Investment Grant awarded to Alzheimer Society of BC (ASBC)

Prince George, BC – United Way of Northern BC (UWNBC) is pleased to announce that it has awarded a $8,000 grant to Alzheimer Society of B.C. for Education and Outreach Road Trip.

Each year not-for-profit agencies, that provide community social programming, can apply for Community Investment Funding from the UWNBC.
