The Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) is a Federal Government strategy.  It is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness by providing direct support and funding to 61 Designated Communities across Canada.  Prince George is identified as a Designated Community and, through Service Canada, receives funding under the Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS).  Funding has been approved for the period of April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2019.
